There are a variety of people all in different stages of their personal and spiritual growth in this 3-day workshop. The challenge for the ones who are quite familiar with the process of inner work is to be fresh. The Beginners Mind needs to be alive in you. To have the beginners mind and approach each process with freshness and eagerness, as though this is the first time you are looking into yourself. To those new or newer to inner work, your challenge is to take risks with yourself to go beyond the safe parameters you normally navigate yourself with.
Crisis is necessary as all negativity crates stagnant pools of energy. When we enter into a difficult and challenging time, it wakes us up and draws us to attend to this negative energy. Otherwise we would just continue to bury it, and ignore it. Crisis shakes us up. It shakes up the frozen negativity buried deep within.
I myself have done an enormous amount of inner work, and derived huge benefit by using these processes on myself. There is never nothing to see and evolve. There is never nothing to transform.
To make healing truly effective, we need to involve our imagination, our understanding, our feelings, and our power of belief in the healing process. The more we see, understand, feel and believe in the healing process, the deeper will be its benefits. Our five senses are like openings, doorways through which we receive all the perceptions that are then transformed into concepts and ideas.
Everything we encounter in our daily lives is a product of our imagination. We add power to these imaginary things by believing in them, and they then become deeply rooted mental habits. We have forgotten the truth.
Therefore imagination is a powerful tool . We need to be very mindful how we use it. We can use positive memory and imagination to re-create a positive experience, and lead ourselves into a positive new habit of thought and behaviour. It is a form of purification of our perceptions.
We get very caught up in what our senses and thinking mind bring to our attention. Some is helpful. Much is keeping us distracted and an obstacle to meeting and living from a true place within.
Going to this true place is an awakening, and all of our inner search and healing leads us deeper into this awakened state. This gives us more and more choice to live from a more kind and caring space, rather than be driven by our patterns and habitual ways of operating. As we awaken, we learn to listen and open to insight that can be heard and recognized the clearer we become.
This is the journey for everyone. We begin where we are now, and move forward, embracing all the different processes and meditations that this workshop offers. There are various methods, and various tools that are given to assist this journey. This noble journey of increasing self-awareness and learning to utilize the skillful tools offered. With all of this, we all have the opportunity to act and work in a way that not only benefits ourselves, but also benefits others, and in the big picture, we affect how this world operates.
Every drop of consciousness eventually will fill the bucket of awareness.
A project book will be given. This project is you!!
This is a place to jot notes and to learn how to creatively journal, going beyond the words into the symbolic inner language. The benefits of this creative expression will allow you the access you can gain of body and energy awareness from the stencils and drawing. At the Living Waters Centre where I did 2 years of intensive live in psychotherapy training, we always drew after a session, and it always amazed me what would revel itself. You will explore how to read what arises on your pages.
We begin with intention.
“Actions may be positive or negative according to the intention that underlies them, just as a crystal refracts the colors of its surroundings”
Dilgo Khense Rinpoche.
Begin to shape how you want to be in the world, your inner and outer world.
We can be the players of decreasing the suffering for ourselves and others.
We become instruments of healing into more peace, love and compassion for ourselves and others.
In this work, we learn to surrender to that which is within that is greater than our learned habitual egoic self.
It is a noble journey.
Blessings
